1. Tell us a bit about yourself, where are you from, and what about Hong Kong makes it special and makes you stay?
I am originally from Guangdong, China, and I moved to Hong Kong when I was 16. Why did I choose to stay in Hong Kong? Because this is where my family is, and I think there is a mission waiting for me in Hong Kong. This place can give me a lot of chance to develop myself more, and it’s a place where I can contribute too!

2. What's important to you, and how do these values affect your professional choices?
A lot! Important to me are God, health, family, true friends and self-development.

3. What are your thoughts on the average Hong Kong diet?
In my opinion most of the Hong Kong average diet is actually killing people’s health. Almost 100% of the Hong Kong local savoury foods contain MSG which is very bad for our health. Very little veggies, but lots of white rice and big pieces of meat - pan fried or deep fried. It is really bad for our health, and that’s why so many people are always feeling tired, sleepy, slow, heavy and constipated or have stomach issues.

4. What's your personal battle? How do you make your everyday life greener and healthier?
I love to cook by myself like boil 5-7 difference types of veggies in one meal, but sometimes there just isn’t enough time to do that. If I go to a restaurant, I sometimes bring my own raw super foods energy bars with me. It can be so hard to get healthy foods! If I am not around Central Area (and most of the healthy shops where I could get some supplies and supplements are in Central) , I will buy some fruits and take them with me to boost up my nutrients.

5. What’s next for you? What interesting projects are you working on?
I am focused on my start up now: the energy bar business. I am making raw energy bars and healthy foods, as this is what I am passionate about. I hope that I can share with more people the joy of eating healthy. It really is changing our lives and happiness. It is important that we always listen to our bodies and hearts to be healthier and better people.
My latest achievement and a new project for this week is that I had a pop up appearance in Live Zero, and had the chance to sell my raw energy bars there. Live Zero is the health shop that I like because they encourage people to care about the earth and pursue a more zero waste-oriented lifestyle too.
